Laura Scott
Laura Scott, who also serves as Creative Director, has been designing and deploying websites for individuals and businesses since 1995. She has over a dozen years’ experience in television and video as an editor, motion-graphics artist and compositor and producer for HBO pictures, various indie film companies and a number of Fortune500 corporations. A graduate of The University of Chicago, she has a BA in English and an MFA.
Katherine Lawrence
Kate Lawrence has held management positions at Hewlett-Packard, DuPont, and a number of venture capital-backed start-ups. Her background spans patented research and development, manufacturing, engineering, sales, marketing, finance, and strategic planning.
Andy Kirkham
Originally trained as an electrical engineer, Andy Kirkham specialized in power generation, transmission, automation, imaging and the black arts of analogue design. During the fifteen years he spent as a Hardware/Software Engineer designing high speed machine vision systems and process control equipment, he developed skills in C, assembler, VHDL and CISC/RISC technologies and many other hardware related techniques. In 1998 he founded his own UK-based ISP company and began working with Unix, MySQL, PHP and contributing to the open source FreeBSD project. Andy sold the company in 2000 and worked as a consultant while continuing to develop LAMP based websites.
Kevin Bridges
Kevin Bridges is a 12+ year veteran of internet technology. His specialties include Linux/Apache Administration, PHP Development, Ajax/Javascript and SQL databases. He is an expert working with object oriented programming, GUI's and end user behavior patterns. Using the handle cyberswat, Kevin has been working with Drupal for several years and maintains the Picasa and Auto Assign Role modules.
Andy Lasda
Andy Lasda has been professionally involved in technology roles for over 12 years, serving in such diverse roles as PC technician, System Administrator, Web Developer, Application developer in PHP and Perl, and carries significant experience with Business Analysis and Project Management. In his last job, he developed a multitude of web-based e-commerce and infrastructure applications for Dalbey Education Institute. Additionally, he has been a major contributor to the success of various projects with GE Access, HP, and MCI.
John Fiala
John Fiala has a solid background in software, web programming and systems administration; 12 years in all, six in web development. His professional career started in 1995 at Comprehensive Software Systems, Inc., where he was a Software Engineer for 8 years. For the last several years he was with MeetingOne as their Senior Software Engineer. His experience ranges from PHP, through Javascript, HTML, AJAX and ASP.NET.
Ben Jeavons
Ben Jeavons joins pingVision after building grassroots-media, online communities for the Enthusiast Group in Boulder, Colorado. Since high-school he has had an interest in the web, from first learning basic HTML and CSS to now building web applications in PHP. A Colorado native, Ben is a graduate from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a degree in Computer Science.
Al Steffen
Al Steffen is an experienced webmaster and designer with experience in site implementation. Al combines expertise in xhtml and CSS to construct semantic designs that maximize web accessibility and cross-platform functionality. In 3D, Al is an expert animator and modeler, with experience on multiple systems, including the top-line open source application, Blender.
J. Matthew Saunders
Matthew Saunders has been working and studying Technology for over 12 years. Most recently, he served as the Senior Director of Technology for WESTAF (the Western States Arts Federation) for eight years, where he conceptualized, wrote specifications, sold, and oversaw the build of the highly successful online application system ZAPPlication.org, a revolutionary jury system in the arts industry currently used by over 100 art shows and 30,000 artists world wide.
Amy Tremper
Amy Tremper has has been a freelance graphic artist for marketing consultants, photographers, non-profits and small businesses. Her focus in design has been brand identity and marketing material for both commercial and fine art photographers. She has a B.A. in Fine Art from the College of Santa Fe.
Kevin LaPalme
Kevin LaPalme is a Drupal veteran with ten years' professional web experience – 4 of them in Drupal development – joining pingVision after working for Trellon. Previously he was a owner/employee of a web collective that built Drupal web sites for labor unions, and before that worked in the web department of a television production company owned by Lorne Michaels. He's been building sites professionally since 1998.
Matt Tucker
Matt Tucker brings entrepreneurial experience going back to when he was 13 years old, producing videos for local middle and high schools. In high school, Matthew developed several dynamic applications using PHP. Matt previously worked at Monarch Digital in Colorado Springs. Matt is currently majoring in Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Colorado.
Ezra Barnett Gildesgame
Ezra Gildesgame is a self taught computer user who has honed his technical skills since 1999. He has worked in a technical capacity for Amusement Consultants, the New Roc Funhouse megaplex entertainment center and the Knitting Factory music venue in New York City as a computer consultant (intern), website maintainer and music reviewer. His high school independent project was a collaboration with History professors to create an easy-to-use archival system for scanned images from a diverse library of print media using a web-server. Ezra was a presenter at the 2007 Yahoo Open Source Summit and is the maintainer of the Subgroups for Organic Groups module. He brings with him practical skills in Drupal (known as ezra-g), PHP, MySQL, Javascript (jQuery) and video .
Laurie K. Olson
Laurie K. Olson has worked for more than 25 years in the areas of administration, data management and writing. Her interest in computers started to take a serious turn when, while on temporary assignment at IBM, she wrote the users’ manual for an in-house data-tracking software and learned to program in Turbo Pascal. From there she went on to work with data management and analysis in the area of cross-cultural adaptation, primarily with a psychometric behavioral assessment tool and ongoing follow-up data
Montana Henke
Montana Henke has been building websites since 2000. She has worked for several local design firms as well as managing her own freelance design studio, catering to clients nation-wide and specializing in identity solutions and branding. Montana has previously worked for Elevations Credit Union and The Colorado Daily/Daily Camera. Montana holds a degree in Graphic Design, Print & Production.
Greg Knaddison
Greg Knaddison has been contributing to Open Source projects since 1999. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School with a degree in Information Systems, Greg’s technology experience spans the gamut from profitability models built with Excel macros to web-based decision engines built on top of Oracle. He has worked for large firms, including Arthur Andersen and Price Waterhouse Coopers, as well as for Azure Solutions and Charter Communications.
